Tail Trails will collect your dog/dogs and take them on one of our beach, forest or river walks or walk them from your home if you have a preferred route.  Where possible I will do my best to fit in with you.

I provide group walks and individual walks to suit each dog’s individual needs and have packages with discounts for regular customers.

I ask only that you provide us with as much information on your dog as possible.  This allows us to keep your dog happy and safe at all times.

Dog Walking Service

Pet Sitting

I provide a pet sitting service for your pets in your home.  My standard package is two visits during the day – one for 45 minutes to feed/play/tend to pets and a second visit including a walk for one hour.  If you require longer, shorter, less frequent or more frequent visits we can tailor a package to suit you.

For new pet sitting clients I ask that bookings are done at least two weeks ahead of the time you will be away.  This leaves time to get acquainted with your pet/s and ensure that any issues or hiccups can be sorted out prior to your holiday.

Pet Taxi

Pet Taxi

Does your pet have an appointment that you are not free to take him/her to?  Tail Trails can help!

Please call if you need to avail of this service.  I will be happy to transport your pet/s to where they need to be and take them home again if required.

Rules/Terms

Please note that for dogs walked on an intermittent basis, at least 2 days notice must be given before the day the dog needs to be walked, so that a slot is ensured.  I will of course do all I can to fit you in but specific times cannot be guaranteed as dogs walked on a regular basis must take priority.  A copy of Tail Trails terms and conditions is made available to each client at our first meeting.

Please note that if your dog is not lead trained, or difficult for you to walk, it is probable that I will be unable to take him/her on as a regular walker. Whilst your dog may not be aggressive with you there is quite a difference when someone else enters your home to care for or walk your pets. At the core of my work is the safety and wellbeing of the animals entrusted to my care,  my own safety and the safety of the public. I must insist that dogs be lead trained and non-aggressive for both their safety and mine. If a dog proves difficult to care for or walk, I must decline. I am not a dog trainer but am more than happy to recommend an appropriate trainer should you want or need help with training your dog.
