How many dogs do you walk at a time and how safe will my dog/s be with you?

 

I walk anything from one to five dogs depending on temperament and socialisation.  I aim to find out as much as I can pre-walk about your dog so that I can best fit him in to the group schedule depending on your pets level of socialisation.  Ido individual walks also as some dogs are not happy to walk with others, or may need more one-on-one attention.  Each dog is different and will have different exercise wants and needs so I endeavour to give your dog the best option for optimum exercise, enjoyment and of course, safety.  All dogs are walked on lead only to ensure their safety and to comply with the law and with insurance requirements.  As an extra precaution I use a walking belt and my own leads to ensure as high a standard of security and safety as I can. Any client is more than welcome to join us for a walk at any time.

EXCEPTIONS:  *Please note that if your dog is not lead trained, or difficult for you to walk, it is probable that I will be unable to take him/her on as a regular walker. Whilst your dog may not be aggressive with you there is quite a difference when someone else enters your home to care for or walk your pets. At the core of my work is the safety and wellbeing of the animals entrusted to my care,  my own safety and the safety of the public. I must insist that dogs be lead trained and non-aggressive for both their safety and mine. If a dog proves difficult to care for or walk, I must decline. I am not a dog trainer but am more than happy to recommend an appropriate trainer should you want or need help with training your dog.
